We've got a lovely no bake creamy pie dessert recipe for you today!
It's absolutely delicious and really easy to make. There's no cooking or baking, and it's just a case of mixing a few ingredients and then leaving it to chill for a few hours and then it's ready to serve.
This strawberry pudding pie is ideal for a summer's day dessert, using fresh strawberries when they're in season will give a sweeter and fuller flavor to the pie.
For this recipe, we've used vanilla pudding mix, Cool Whip, and a Graham Cracker crust. For those of you outside the USA, we've added the alternatives in the ingredients below so you can still make this strawberry pie using ingredients available in the UK and other countries.

Ingredients
The Graham Cracker Crust
1 & ½ cups or 180g graham cracker crumbs (about 10-12 whole graham crackers) or Digestive biscuits
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
The Filling
1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
1 & ¼ cups or 350ml of cold milk
1 cup Cool Whip (thawed)
2 cups or 250g fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced.
The Topping (optional)
Additional Cool Whip
Additional fresh strawberries for garnish
Notes:
- You can also use a premade 10 inch graham cracker crust for this recipe.
- If you cannot find cool whip, use ½ cup or 120ml of whipping cream with 2 teaspoons of powdered sugar added, and whip to stiff peaks.
- *For Instant vanilla pudding mix, Asda and Ocado in the UK stock this. Also, Amazon
- Digestive biscuits can be used instead of Graham Crackers.
Instructions
- Make the Graham Cracker Crust: Place graham crackers in a resealable plastic bag and crush them into fine crumbs using a rolling pin or a food processor. You should end up with about 1 & ½ cups of crumbs.
- Gradually pour the melted butter over the graham cracker crumbs while stirring continuously. Mix until all the crumbs are evenly moistened and the mixture resembles wet sand. Transfer the mixture into a 10-inch pie dish. Use the back of a spoon or your fingers to press the crumbs firmly and evenly onto the bottom.
- Prepare the Vanilla Pudding: Combine the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk in a mixing bowl. Whisk together for about 2 minutes until the pudding mix is fully dissolved and thickens.
- Add in the strawberries and mix into the pudding mixture using a food processor or electric mixer.
5. Gently fold in 1 cup of Cool Whip until well combined. This will make the pudding mixture light and fluffy. Be careful not to deflate the Cool Whip too much.
6. Pour the strawberry pudding mixture into the graham cracker crust, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
7. Cover the pie with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until the pudding is set. You can also speed up the process by chilling in the freezer.
8. Once the pie is chilled and set, you can optionally garnish it with additional Cool Whip and fresh strawberry slices before serving.
