Delicious lemon pepper chicken tenders coated in crisp panko breadcrumbs and oven-baked or air-fried. Full of flavor, tender and juicy chicken pieces, and is great with a dipping sauce.
These lemon pepper chicken tenders are great for a party! They're super quick and easy to make, and versatile, so you can oven bake them or air fry them.
The chicken cut we've used here are chicken tenders, which is a part of the chicken breast and the texture and succulence is indeed very tender.
You can use other cuts of chicken, for example, chicken wings, thighs, or drumsticks. If you want to use whole chicken breasts, I find it easier to slice the breasts horizontally across so they are not as thick. Just be sure to adjust the cook time if using any other chicken part due to the thickness.
The flavor is really nice. You get a slight zing from the pepper and lemon, which is seasoned in the flour, and the texture, well, it's light and crispy coating combined with the juicy chicken makes for a delicious eat!
We've served these chicken tenders at parties, picnics, dinner times, and for snacks. Eat them with some oven-baked fries, a nice side salad, and your favorite dipping sauce or chutney. They're really popular so you might need to double up the recipe. They go fast!
