Granola is a lovely recipe. It's so flexible, you can add a variety of ingredients to suit your taste and diet.
Granola is made up of rolled oats and usually nuts and dried fruits, and then honey or syrup.
It is then baked on a low heat, allowed to cool and then it becomes crunchy and usually eaten as part of a breakfast with some milk or plain yogurt.

This recipe uses honey and coconut oil, plus a little butter. You could always use entirely coconut oil, and reduce the honey quantity if you prefer.
The honey and the butter/coconut oil is what makes the granola stick together in chunks, so bear in mind, if you omit those ingredients, your granola won't come out in chunks but will be more like baked muesli.

So yes, over all, it will be much cheaper than buying it ready-made, plus you know exactly what ingredients you're adding!

Granola is usually made up of oils, sugars and dried fruits which gives it that characteristic crunch once baked Muesli isn't baked and doesn't usually have oils and butter so it can be healthier than granola, although it won't have the flavor you get from granola so it's your call!

No, granola contains oil, sugar, such as honey or syrup and baked.
